Information collected

• Website use and performance. Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous page-view information such as the page, referrer, general location, browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel Speed Insights records anonymous performance measurements such as page speed and Core Web Vitals.
• Cart and orders. The site stores a necessary cookie namedcartId for up to 30 days so your cart can persist. Shopify processes checkout and may collect your name, contact information, billing and shipping addresses, payment information, order details, and fraud-prevention information.
• Sweepstakes entries. Purchase records are used to calculate qualifying purchase entries. A free mail-in entry includes the information listed in the Official Rules, including your name, residential address, email address, telephone number, age or date of birth, date, and signature.
• Potential winner information. A potential winner may be asked for identity and eligibility documents, an affidavit, IRS Form W-9, insurance information, and vehicle-transfer documents. If permitted by the Official Rules, winner announcement and handoff materials may include the winner's name, city and state, likeness, voice, photographs, or video.
• Messages. If you contact me through Instagram or email, the service you use and Matt Makes LLC receive the information in your message.

How information is used

Information is used to:

• run the site, keep carts working, process orders, and provide customer support;
• understand site traffic, diagnose problems, and improve site performance;
• process Sweepstakes entries, prevent fraud, enforce entry requirements, conduct the drawing, contact and verify potential winners, transfer the prize, and meet legal and tax requirements; and
• send marketing only when you separately choose to receive it. Marketing consent is not required to enter or win the Sweepstakes.

How information is shared

Matt Makes LLC may share information only as needed with Shopify, Vercel, the designated Sweepstakes drawing company, payment and fulfillment providers, email or SMS providers if used with your consent, professional advisers, tax professionals, shipping providers, and government authorities when legally required. Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Matt Makes LLC does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here and to meet legal, tax, accounting, dispute, and enforcement obligations. Non-winner Sweepstakes information will be kept for the legally required record-retention period, then deleted or anonymized. Winner, tax, drawing, and compliance records may be kept longer when required by law.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent or appeal a response. You may also unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Sweepstakes entrants may correct or withdraw their information, although withdrawing required entry information may make the entry ineligible. A withdrawn entry cannot be resubmitted for additional entries.

Children and other services

The site is not directed to children under 13. Sweepstakes entrants must be at least 18 and must have reached the age of majority in their state. Links to Shopify, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other services are governed by those services' own privacy policies.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the site, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will show the latest revision.
