Official Rules for the Charlie the Truck House Sweepstakes

Agreement to Official Rules

Participation in the “Charlie the Truck House Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) constitutes an eligible entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official rules (these “Official Rules”) and the decisions of Sponsor (as defined below), which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Matt Makes LLC, a Utah limited liability company, P.O. Box 213, Midvale, UT 84047 (“Sponsor”). These Official Rules and entry information are available at [https://itsmattmakes.com/rules] (the “Website”).

Odds

The odds of winning the Sweepstakes will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period (as defined below).

Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to eligible entrants who are, at the time of entry, legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, excluding Florida and New York, and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and the age of majority in their state of residence. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes: (a) Sponsor’s owners, employees, and contractors directly involved in administering the Sweepstakes; (b) advertising, fulfillment, and legal service providers directly involved in the Sweepstakes; and (c) immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) and household members, whether or not related, of any of the foregoing. All federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations apply. Void in Florida, New York, and where prohibited by law.

Entry Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM Mountain Time (“MT”) on October 19, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM MT on November 19, 2026, a period of thirty-two (32) consecutive days (“Entry Period”). Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than November 19, 2026 and received no later than five (5) business days after the end of the Entry Period (the “Mail-In Receipt Deadline”). Sponsor’s server and computer clock is the official time-keeping device for this Sweepstakes.

How to Enter

There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes during the Entry Period: (a) by making a qualifying purchase (“Purchase Entry”); or (b) by mailing a handwritten request (“Free Entry”). Entrants may mail as many Free Entry requests per day as they wish during the Entry Period, and neither Purchase Entries nor Free Entries are subject to any daily entry limit.

Purchase Entry

Each purchase of qualifying merchandise from the online store at the Website will receive one (1) entry for every whole dollar ($1.00) spent, excluding taxes, shipping and handling, gift cards, donations, and amounts later canceled, returned, refunded, disputed, or charged back. Purchasers receive the advertised merchandise at its normal retail value, independent of any Sweepstakes entries. Entries associated with canceled, refunded, fraudulent, disputed, or charged-back purchases will be void where legally permitted. Purchases remain subject to Sponsor’s posted return policy and applicable law.

Free Entry

To enter without making a purchase, handwrite on a piece of paper your full legal name, complete residential mailing address, email address, telephone number, date of birth or confirmation that you meet the minimum age requirement, the date, the Sweepstakes name (“Charlie the Truck House Sweepstakes”), and your signature, and mail it in an envelope with proper postage to: Charlie the Truck House Sweepstakes, c/o Matt Makes LLC, P.O. Box 213, Midvale, UT 84047. The entry card and outer envelope must be handwritten by the entrant only, and the outer envelope must display the entrant’s name and return address. Limit one (1) request per outer mailing envelope; each envelope must be mailed individually. Entrants may not use any third party to assist with the entry process in any way. Each valid request will receive twenty-five (25) entries. Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, automated, or bulk submissions or shipments will not be accepted.

No automated entry devices, bots and/or other programs and/or software are permitted for entry. Those who do not follow all of Sponsor’s instructions, fail to provide the required information with their entry forms, or fail to abide by these Official Rules may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. All entries that are late, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, damaged, destroyed, forged or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address included on the entrant’s entry form. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

Winner Selection AND NOTIFICATION

Sponsor’s designated drawing company will conduct one (1) verifiable random drawing within five (5) to ten (10) business days after the Mail-In Receipt Deadline from all eligible entries received to determine the potential grand prize winner. The potential winner will be notified by email and telephone, and may also be notified by certified mail. A potential winner is not a winner of any prize until their eligibility has been verified, they have signed an affidavit or declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where permitted) (the “Affidavit”), provided a completed IRS Form W-9 and all required vehicle-transfer documentation, and provided all other Sponsor-required documents within five (5) business days of notification, and they have received notice from Sponsor that they have won a prize, even if any information on the Website or any other location indicates that an entrant has won. If a potential prize winner fails to respond, fails to sign and return such required documents within the required time period or if a potential prize winner is not otherwise eligible to enter or receive a prize in accordance with these Official Rules, the potential prize winner forfeits his/her right to the prize and an alternate prize winner may be selected at random from among all remaining nonwinning eligible entries received during the Entry Period, time permitting. In the event that a potential prize winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor shall have no liability or obligation to such entrant.

Grand Prize

One (1) grand prize winner will receive the following prize: one (1) custom converted vehicle known as “My $2000 House,” “Charlie,” or “Charlie the U-Home,” consisting of a used, custom-built and modified 1996 Ford F-250 XLT, VIN 1FTHX26F6TEB37439, approximately 214,000 miles, 4WD, 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel engine, automatic transmission, with a former U-Haul 14-foot cab-over box on the 1996 Ford F-250 chassis, featuring a handmade camper/tiny-home conversion, solar battery electrical system, kitchenette, lighting, heat, AC, cabinetry, and sleeping and living accommodations, with a clean Utah title and no lien. Approximate retail value of prize is $20,000. Actual prize may differ from promotional images. The prize must be picked up in Utah only, at a Sponsor-specified location, no later than December 19, 2026 (the “Pick-Up Deadline”). The prize consists solely of the vehicle described above. All other expenses are excluded and are the sole responsibility of the winner, including, but not limited to, lodging, gas, vehicle costs, ground transportation, airfare, meals, incidentals, and any other travel-related expenses not explicitly identified herein as part of the prize. Before pick-up, winner must provide proof that winner can legally take title to the vehicle and has obtained any required insurance. No cash alternative, substitution, or transfer of the prize by the winner is permitted, except that Sponsor may award an alternate prize of equal or greater value if the advertised vehicle becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside Sponsor’s reasonable control. If the selected winner cannot legally take title, obtain required insurance, complete requested documentation (including the Affidavit), pass verification, or pick up the prize by the Pick-Up Deadline, the winner will forfeit the prize and will be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected. If a winner declines a prize for any reason, the winner will not receive any substitution or reimbursement of the prize or portion thereof. THE PRIZE IS AWARDED STRICTLY “AS IS, WHERE IS,” WITH ALL FAULTS, WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY. All prize warranties, whether express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed by Sponsor. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable, and will be provided only to the winner, with no substitutions except as stated above. Other restrictions may apply. Winner shall be responsible for any and all federal, state, local, or other sales, transaction privilege, use, income, excise, or other taxes, registration, licensing, emissions or safety inspections, insurance, fees, assessments, charges, costs, or similar of any nature associated with any prize, and any expenses not expressly included herein.

Publicity

Unless it is otherwise prohibited by law, by accepting any prize, each winner expressly grants to Sponsor, and its designees, the right to use and publish his/her name, city and state of residence, likeness, voice, biographical information, photographs, and footage solely for purposes of administering the Sweepstakes, announcing the winner, and documenting and promoting this Sweepstakes, including filming the vehicle handoff and creating social-media posts, YouTube and other video content, website content, and recaps relating to this Sweepstakes (“Advertising”), in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, without further payment or consideration (unless prohibited by law). Any use of a winner’s name, likeness, voice, or other identifying information in testimonials, unrelated branded content, or other campaigns beyond this Sweepstakes will require the winner’s separate, prior written consent. Each winner further agrees to execute any specific consent needed or requested by Sponsor or its designees in furtherance of the uses permitted above. All copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights in such Advertising shall be owned by Sponsor and/or its licensors, and each winning participant hereby disclaims and waives any claim of right to such Advertising. Such Advertising shall be solely under the control of Sponsor and/or its licensors, and each winner hereby waives any claim of control over the Advertising content as well as any possible claims of misuse of such winning recipient’s name, likeness or voice under contract, tort or any other theory of law in connection with the uses permitted above.

Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, and its parent companies, affiliate companies, subsidiaries, advertising, fulfillment, marketing, and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, partners, members, principals, employees, agents, contractors or suppliers from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, mistyped, misaddressed or misdirected entries, emails, mail or communications; (b) any computer, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections or availability; or garbled, corrupt or jumbled transmissions, service provider/Internet/Website/UseNet accessibility, availability or traffic congestion; (c) any technical, mechanical, printing, or typographical or other error; (d) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (e) any award that has been lost or stolen after being received by the recipient; (f) inaccurate capture of registration information, or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information; (g) injury or damage to any person or property (including bodily injury or death) that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt, use, or misuse of any prize; (h) any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes that may be due and payable for receipt or use of any prize; and (i) any claims based on publicity rights, copyright/trademark infringement, intellectual property rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. If, for any reason, an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost or otherwise destroyed, corrupted or for any other reason not accepted as an entry in the Sweepstakes, entrant’s sole remedy is to enter the Sweepstakes again and to receive another entry.

MISCELLANEOUS

The decisions of Sponsor are final with respect to all aspects of this Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules will be governed, construed, and interpreted under the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to choice of law principles. Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the District of Utah or appropriate state court located in Salt Lake City, Utah; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. For purposes of these Official Rules, (i) the words “include,” “includes” and “including” shall be deemed to be followed by the words “without limitation”; (ii) the word “or” is not exclusive; and (iii) the words “herein,” “hereof,” “hereby,” “hereto,” and “hereunder” refer to these Official Rules as a whole. In the event of any conflict between any Sweepstakes details contained in these Official Rules and Sweepstakes details contained in any promotional materials (including, but not limited to, point of sale, television and print advertising, promotional packaging and other promotional media), the details of the Sweepstakes as set forth in these Official Rules shall prevail. If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned by reason of fraud, tampering, technical failure, force majeure, or any other comparable event beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. No modification will materially disadvantage entrants who have already entered the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated, unless prohibited by law, Sponsor will award the prize in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to termination.

PRIVACY POLICY

By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrant authorizes Sponsor to collect, use, process, transfer and store all data provided by entrant, including without limitation, personal data, in the United States, for purposes of administration of the Sweepstakes. All information submitted to Sponsor as part of this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with a Sweepstakes-specific privacy notice and Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at [https://itsmattmakes.com/privacy]. Sponsor will only use entrant’s personal information to: (a) process entries; (b) prevent fraud and enforce entry requirements; (c) administer the drawing; (d) contact and verify potential winners; (e) fulfill the prize; (f) comply with legal and tax requirements; and (g) send marketing communications only where the entrant has separately consented. Sponsor may share entrant information with the drawing company, website/e-commerce provider, email or SMS provider, legal counsel, tax professionals, shipping providers, and government authorities where required. Sponsor does not intend to sell entrant information. Non-winner information will be retained only for the legally required record-retention period and then deleted or anonymized; winner, tax, drawing, and compliance records may be retained longer as required by law. Entrants must fully complete and submit all non-optional data Sponsor requests to be eligible. Entrants have the right to withdraw and correct their personal data, but entrants are not allowed to re-submit their entries for additional entries in the Sweepstakes.

MARKETING CONSENT

Marketing consent is separate from Sweepstakes entry and is not required to enter or win. Entrants may be offered optional, non-pre-selected checkboxes to receive email marketing, SMS marketing, and information about future Matt Makes promotions. Declining marketing consent will not reduce an entrant’s odds of winning or prevent entry. Publicity permission for the verified winner is addressed separately in these Official Rules and in the winner documentation.
